We are over the moon to present to you the debut single from Carasel’s new album surfacing this Winter. ‘Time Sweep’ is the coming together of 3 drum and bass giants, switching up their trademark 174 tempo and instead trading beats and bars on a infectious boom bap hip-hop track with a surging piano lead and neck cracking drums.

Produced by former BBC 1xtra taste maker Crissy Criss, the tune is instantly recognisable by fans of drum and bass and jungle as the classic ‘Check Check Check’ sounds out from Adam F’s ‘Colours (Originally sampled from Blackstreet for fact fans) paired with ticking clocks and Carasel exclaiming ‘Has anyone got the time?’

What follows is Cara and the legendary Mercury prize winning Reprazent frontman Dynamite MC exchanging flows with numerous references to time, all under the theme of taking action and getting things done; ‘Stop clock watching – Do Something’ is the mantra.

We have all waited long enough for this album and as Carasel states ‘Time waits for no man’ so watch out for a steady stream of singles as we build pressure towards the full release.
